Motivation
 

As climate change accelerates, reducing household energy consumption is shifting from an option to an urgent necessity. Yet, many homeowners lack the insight or incentives to adopt more efficient practices, often relying on outdated information that fails to reflect real-world energy usage. A summer research internship, where I leveraged machine learning to uncover hidden drivers of consumption, ignited my interest in data-driven solutions that empower smarter, more sustainable choices. This was a critical step in driving me to author a book to build awareness around household energy efficiency and effect positive change in young minds.
